Teresa Lines

Teresa Lines is the deputy project manager, logistics manager and security supervisor for G4S Risk Consulting Limited, a company that supports the FCDO. The role of the FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office) is to pursue the national interests of the UK and the interests of its citizens. It employs over 17,000 staff in its diplomatic and development offices around the world, with the aim of positioning the UK as a reliable, responsible and effective international partner and actor, investing in the global relationships the country needs in the long term.

Terri Lines also has experience as a freelance close protection management operative. In this role she was responsible for the risk mitigation, strategic planning and coordination of security measures required to ensure the wellbeing of protected individuals. Her work included assessing security measures, minimising threats, and dealing with any threats or risks that did occur.

From 1987 to 2001, Ms Lines served in the 6th Battalion Light Infantry in Somerset. Here she operated at sergeant level, managing and leading a team made up of 10-15 junior members of staff, whilst overseeing the feeding of nearly 800 troops. During her time with the battalion, she competed in company and battalion-level shooting competitions.

Ms Lines has completed numerous professional development courses, including UNICEF Safeguarding, Crowd Safety Management Level 5, First Aid Response Level 3 and Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3. She holds a Certificate in Education and Training (AEAT) Level 3 and a Diploma in Leadership and Management.
